A little about Safi Alfajiri
This poem tells the story behind the name Safi Alfajiri (also known as "Safi")
I went to a place I had never been
A place in the sun where I had not yet seen
Kenyan beckoned me into its heart.
A place for me to make a brand new Start
Throughout my visit the sun did shine
The earth
The skies
They were mine.
Safi Alfajiri Pure Dawn
On the 29th of January was born
A dream from many years ago.
What it was to be I did not know
New Beginnings …I remember now
But how it was to be I well this is how.
I am asking for donations,
Great and Small
I am asking each and all
To help me build something
Amazing
First for my children at Tumiani..
meaning hope
This is only the beginning
I will not limit my scope…..
